On 26th August, 2025, we had passed the following order :- "1. The learned APP submits, on instructions from the I.O., that the missing girl has been traced out. She was above the age of 18 years when she disappeared. She has conveyed that she has got married after she had eloped with her male friend and she does not desire to return to her paternal home. She is willing to address the Court through the whats-app video call on the next date.

The learned Advocate for the Petitioner submits that his senior is not available because he has
rushed back home and he will be available on the next date.

List this Petition on 3rd September, 2025 in the urgent admissions category on the Supplementary Board."

The learned APP submits on instructions from Mr. Sanjay Shipane, API and Mr. Prashant Mahale, HC, Bhayandar Police Station, that the Petitioner visited the Police Station on 12th August, 2025. The Police Authorities contacted her missing daughter and enabled contact between both these ladies to speak to each other.

The learned Advocate for the Petitioner submits that the Petitioner being her mother, spoke to her in the Police Station and she was informed by her missing daughter that she had ran away from the house after she became 18 years of age and she has married Respondent No.4, who is of a legally marriageable age. Her daughter informed her that the is happily residing in her marital home, she does not desire to return back to her parents and does not desire to maintain any contact with her parents. 4.
The learned APP submits that the Police Authorities have traced out the missing woman and as the Petitioner has also
spoken to her. The exact address of the missing woman is not being divulged to the Petitioner since that is the desire of the said woman, who has now got married.

In view of the above, the learned Advocate for the Petitioner submits on instructions from the Petitioner, who is present in the Court hall that the Petitioner desires to withdraw this Petition. She further submits that the missing complaint dated 30th November, 2024, lodged by her with the Bhayandar Police Station, can now be disposed off.

Having recorded the above statements, this Writ Petition is disposed off as withdrawn, on instructions and the missing complaint be disposed off by the concerned Police Authorities in the light of the above.

Considering the relation between the Petitioner and the missing woman, which is of 'mother and daughter', we leave it open to the said daughter to restore the contact with her parents, if she so desires any time in future.
