Vide order dated 23.4.2025, we had issued notice to the Respondents and we had directed that the lady in question Dipti be produced who allegedly was illegally confined by the Respondent Nos.1,2 and 3. Today, Dipti is present before the Court. It is case of the Petitioner that the Petitioner and Dipti are married, but, she is illegally confined by her parents against her wish.

Today we enquired with Dipti about her wish. She Deshmane(PS)

12-wp-2370-25.odt categorically stated that she got married with the Petitioner under coercion. At present she is staying with her parents and brother at Latur. She does not want to go back and stay with the Petitioner. She is 27 years of age as of today. She is an adult. She is free to take her own decision. 3.

The Petitioner is also present before us. He wants to have conversation with Dipti, however, Dipti flatly refused to have any conversation with him. In these circumstances, nothing further survives in this Petition. Dipti is free to go and stay with her parents.

The Petition is disposed of accordingly.
