The petitioners pray for the following reliefs: - "i. That this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to quash and set aside the FIR No. 494 of 2023 dated 11.09.2023 registered by Mahatma Phule chowk Police Station, Kalyan & Charge sheet bearing No.996 of 2023 for the offences punishable under sections 498-A, 406, 323, 504, R/W 34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 against the Petitioners. ii.

Pending hearing and final disposal of the present petition the proceeding in Regular Criminal Case No. 996 of 2023 pending before the Ld. Trial Court, Kalyan be stayed;

iii. Ad-interim relief in terms of prayer clause (ii). iv. Any other and further reliefs as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper."

The learned In-Charge Public Prosecutor states that the cognizance has been taken on 30th November 2023 by the Court concerned.

The learned counsel for the petitioners seeks permission to withdraw this writ petition with liberty to explore the remedy as available to the petitioners including challenging the order taking cognizance or any other further order passed by the Court concerned within a period of two weeks and till then the interim order dated 9th May 2025 shall operate in their favour.
