1. This petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India filed praying for the following reliefs:

"a. Issue Rule;

b. For a writ or an order in the nature of writ directing the Respondents to take legal action in a time bound manner of prosecution and punishment against the police officials of the Respondents who despite of being reminded time and again to act in accordance and comply with the directives and guidelines laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in the case of Lalita Kumari have chosen not to act in accordance with the same with specific reference to the Petitioner's written complaint and statements starting from January 2024 till April 2025 which clearly disclose serious cognizable and non-bailable offences including offences such as kidnapping abduction and forgery committed against the Petitioner;

c. Pending the hearing and final disposal of the present Petition for an order of this Hon'ble Court directing the Respondents to individually file affidavits disclosing the legal action taken by them, if any, upon receipt of the Petitioner's various complaints and statements starting from January 2024 till 07 May 2025 Kiran Kawre

921-WPST-2624-2023.DOC April 2025 which would show compliance with the directives and guidelines given by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in the case of Lalita Kumari; d. Interim and ad-interim relief in terms of prayer clause (c);"

We cannot delve on the merits of the petitioners case subject matter of the complaint, suffice it to observe, that the complaint was transferred from Worli Police Station to Gamdevi Police Station and thereafter, it is informed that the Gamdevi Police Station has again returned the complaint to the Worli Police Station. It is on such backdrop, the proceedings are before us.

3. Learned APP, on instructions of the concerned officer Mr. Shrinivas Darade, API Gamdevi Police Station who is present in the Court submits that it is the Worli Police Station which would be now looking into the complaint. In fact, the statement of the petitioner has already been recorded by the Gamdevi Police Station.

4. Be that as it may, let the further appropriate procedure as per law be undertaken by the officer incharge of the Worli Police Station. All contentions of the petitioner on the merits of this complaint are expressly kept open.

5. Petition would not require further adjudication.

6. It is accordingly disposed of. No costs.
