The learned APP in response to the submissions made by the counsel for the petitioners has invited our attention to the report submitted by the Investigating Officer on 16th September 2023 to the Additional Sessions Judge / Special M.P.I.D. Court, Shivaji Nagar, Pune thereby extending consent for de-freezing of the accounts of the petitioners.

On instructions, the learned APP submits that a remedy is available to the petitioner to approach the bank in the light of aforesaid consent extended by the Investigating Agency at whose behest the accounts have been freezed.

In case if such request is made by the petitioners for de-freezing the accounts in view of the aforesaid observations, we expect the Bank who is not a party to the petition to deal with the same expeditiously. The petition accordingly stands disposed of.
