By this petition, the petitioner is seeking a limited relief by way of a direction to the learned trial Court, to expedite the hearing of CC No.282/SS/2014, pending before the Court of Metropolitan Magistrate, Andheri, Mumbai, which the petitioner has instituted u/s 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act against respondent No.2. She further submits that the petitioner is a senior citizen who had filed the said complaint in the year 2014 and despite Page No. 1 of 2 ____________________________________________ 9 May 2025

In view of the prolonged pendency of the complaint and considering the advanced age of the petitioner, who deserves priority in the adjudication of his case, this Court finds it appropriate to request the learned trial Court to expedite the hearing of the said matter.

Accordingly, the learned trial Court is requested to take up the case for early hearing and dispose it of expeditiously, on its own merits and in accordance with the law.

The petition stands disposed of accordingly.
