Present Petition is filed for quashing of C. R. No. 720 of 2021 registered on 18th December 2021 with Vikhroli Police Station, Mumbai. 2.

Admittedly, after completion of the investigation, the police have filed the charge-sheet. In view of the decision of the Hon'ble Supreme Court in the case of Neeta Singh & Ors. Vs. The State of Uttar Pradesh & Ors., Special Leave to Appeal (Cri.) No(s). 13578/2024, dated 15th October 2024, present Petition has become infructuous. 3.

In view of the above, learned Advocate for Petitioners seeks leave to withdraw Petition with liberty to avail alternate remedy of filing an Application for discharge before the trial Court. This Order is modified/corrected pursuant to the Speaking to Minutes of Order dated 18th July 2025.
