The Petitioners have put forth prayer clauses (a), (b), (c) and (d), as under:- (a) That this Hon'ble Court be pleased to order to issue Writ of Mandamus or any other writ, order or direction in the nature of writ against the Respondents and direct the Public Body, all the Respondents to take immediate cognizance and preventive measure and invoke all the available implementation of law and taking action against all illegal activists and goondas and antisocial elements including under world and to prevent the creation of law and order situation in or around the area Mane 1/3
between Kurla Railway Station leading towards Kurla Depot and CST Road and pass such orders and directions and direct them to immediately registered F.I.R. and offences against all persons and to bring them under law and prevent them to continuing the same in the said area and the said activities and pass such orders and directions as deem fit and proper. (b) That this Hon'ble Court be pleased to order to direct the Respondents that no interference of the political or other interference of the local area leaders or anybody else including the local leaders in taking the urgent steps and actions and show to the Hon'ble Court the steps taken by them and report the matter urgently, immediately without any delay or loss of time and pass such orders and direction as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper.
(c) That this Hon'ble Court also requested and pray that all the activities in the past, present and future by such elements and criminals, anti-social elements, goondas and underworld including the persons who are the officers who are supposed to do the proper legal investigation who are neglecting and direction be given to take appropriate steps by the Higher Authorities under the law and prevent any further steps of illegality by such persons.
(d) That this Hon'ble Court be pleased to order to give appropriate directions to give police protection to the Petitioners with a Special Cell who are not involved in Political or any other persons and special squad and pass such orders and directions as deem fit and proper. 2.
Heard the learned Advocate for the Petitioners for quite some time. The learned Advocate submits on instructions that the Petitioners would withdraw this Petition and if advised, would approach the appropriate forum by initiating appropriate proceedings as is permissible in law. Mane 2/3
