The Petitioner is challenging the order dated 5th June 2025 passed by the Maharashtra State Police Complaint Authority, Mumbai in SPCA/Complaint Case No.89 of 2024.

Mr. Punjabi, learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioner states that the Petitioner is a Deputy Commissioner of Police, Mumbai and although the Petition was filed, thereafter, it was realized that permission is required of higher authorities to file the Writ Petition. He therefore, seeks withdrawal of the Writ Petition with liberty to file a fresh Writ Petition, after permission is obtained from the higher authorities.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is allowed to be withdrawn and disposed of as such.
