The Petitioner as well as her son are Accused, having committed an offence punishable under Section 103 (1) of the Bhartiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023. The Petitioner's son is presently behind bars. The contention of the Petitioner is that he has been illegally arrested. The charge-sheet was filed before the Sessions Court at Thane on 26th June 2025, and the hearing in the matter before the Trial Court started on 7th July 2025.

Keeping the aspect of maintainability of this Petition open, issue notice to the Respondents, returnable on 26th August, 2025. The learned Addl.PP waives service of notice on behalf of the Respondent, State.
