2) Petitioners i.e. Husband, Father in law, Mother in law and Sister in law of Respondent No.2, have filed this Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for quashing of C.R. No. 1160 of 2024 dated 17th July 2024, registered with Hadapsar Police Station, Pune, under Sections 323, 498-A, 504 read with 34 of Indian Penal Code, with the consent of Respondent No.2, the informant.

bipin prithiani 47-wp-3589.25.doc 3) Advocate Ms. Sarode, appearing for Respondent No.2 tendered across the Bar her affidavit dated 6th August 2025. It is stated therein that, the dispute between Petitioner No.1 and Respondent No.2 has been settled before the Family Court at Pune and the Consent Terms dated 9th April 2025 are executed therein. That, Petitioner No.1 and Respondent No.2 have decided to seek dissolution of marriage by mutual consent. In paragraph 6 thereof, Respondent No.2 has given her no objection for quashing of the present crime.
3.1) Respondent No.2 is personally present in the Court and through her Advocate, reiterates the contents of her affidavit dated 6th August 2025 and her 'no objection' for quashing of the crime in question. 4) In view thereof, Petition is allowed in terms of prayer clause (a).
