There is a letter sent by the undertrial prisoner, who is accused in C.R. No. 185 of 2024, making two grievances :- (i) He applied for an appointment of an Advocate before the trial court on 02.05.2025, but the trial Court is not paying attention to his grievance.

(ii) It is about expedite the hearing and disposal of the case as per the provision of Section 309 of the Digitally signed by SEEMA KSHITIJ YELKAR Date:

As per the submission of the learned APP, the case is fixed before the trial court for framing of the charge on 01.08.2025. The learned appointed Advocate for the Petitioner submitted that some direction needs to be given to the trial Court.

If there is undertrial prisoner, the Court is required to pay more attention to such cases. There is no material to verify whether these allegations are correct or not.

Be that it may, certain directions can be given to the trial Court. The case is pending before the Dindoshi Sessions Court. Hence, the following directions:- (i) The trial Court seized of the case is directed to ensure that the Petitioner is represented by an Advocate; if not, then pass necessary orders.

(ii) The trial Court to ensure that the case is disposed of as early as possible.
