The challenge laid in this writ petition is to registration of the FIR vide First Information Report No.195 of 2024. The petitioner has been arrayed as an accused.

Mr. S. V. Gavand, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor tenders a copy of the communication made to the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Halasuru Sub-Division, Bengaluru vide memo dated 29th September 2025 which is taken on record to be attached at an appropriate place.

On the statement made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that First Information Report No. 195 of 2024 has been transferred to Byappanahalli Police Station, East Division, Bengaluru, a liberty is given to the petitioner to avail of remedy as available to him in law and to withdraw the present writ petition.

Writ Petition No. 4007 of 2025 is disposed of as withdrawn with liberty as aforesaid. However, we make it clear that we have not perused the documents on record or heard the learned counsels appearing for the parties on merits. We may further observe that permission to withdraw this writ petition shall not cause any prejudice to the petitioner in any other proceedings taken out by the petitioner in future.
