The Petitioner's grievance is that during the subsistence of his marriage, his wife allegedly married another person. She also filed a case against him under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005. He, therefore, approached the Domestic Violence Court in the pending proceedings and filed an application.

The learned Addl. PP has ably guided the learned Advocate for the Petitioner by referring to Section 219 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, regarding the procedure Gauri Gaekwad

912.WP-4028-2025.odt for filing a complaint with the concerned Magistrate. The learned Advocate for the Petitioner submits, on instructions that the Petitioner will file the said complaint before the learned Magistrate. 3.
