This Court [Coram: A.S.Gadkari & Rajesh S. Patil, JJ.] passed an order on 23rd June, 2025 in Writ Petition No. 4965 of 2024, filed by the present Petitioner, seeking quashing of the First Information Report (FIR). 2.
When the Court expressed its disinclination, the Petitioner withdrew the Petition unconditionally. Liberty was granted to apply for discharge, since the chargesheet was filed and summons were issued. 3.
Within 14 days, the Petitioner has filed the present Petition, alleging that his detention was illegal, the FIR deserves to be quashed, and 1/2
Trupti 2-wp-4079-2025 that Rs. 25 Crores be paid to him as compensation. He claims to be a businessman, social activist, politician and founder president of Bhartiya Janhit Congress party and Bhim Sena. There is a complete suppression of the filing of the earlier Petition seeking quashing of the FIR, in the memo of the Petition.

The learned Advocate for the Petitioner submits, on instructions, that the Petitioner desires to withdraw this Petition. As per the liberty granted vide the earlier order dated 23rd June, 2025, he may contemplate moving an application for discharge. We are not imposing costs since the Petitioner desires to withdraw this Petition. 5.
In view of the above, this Writ Petition is disposed off as withdrawn, on instructions.

Needless to state, if the Petitioner applies for discharge, all contentions are kept open.
