The Petitioner has received an appointment order from First Global Force, a company situated at Al Karama, Dubai. He is directed to report for duties by 4th August, 2025, failing which, the appointment order would be withdrawn.

The Petitioner is facing Regular Criminal Case No.81 of 2020. The FIR was registered on 4th March, 2010 which does not bear out the name of the Petitioner as an Accused. Subsequently, the Petitioner's name is added and the case is committed to the Trial Court in 2020.

The grievance is that the Petitioner's application for seeking orders from the Trial Court for the purpose of renewal of his passport and permission to travel, is pending, though oral submissions have already been advanced on such application. The next date of hearing is said to be scheduled on 7th August, 2025. 4.

In view of the above, we would expect the learned Trial Court to hear the litigating parties and close the matter for orders on 7th August, 2025. Let an order be passed by 14th August, 2025. If a direction is issued to the Passport Authority for the renewal of the passport, we expect the Authority to act with expediency and pass a reasoned order on or before 30th August, 2025. In the event the application is favourably considered, the passport may be issued promptly.

We deem it appropriate to permit the Petitioner to serve a copy of this order to his prospective employer First Global Force with a request that the company may grant extension of time to the Petitioner for joining duties, till 30th September, 2025.

With the above directions and observations, this Petition is disposed off.
