The Petitioner has put forth prayer clause (A) as under:- (A) This Hon'ble Court may please to invoke writ in the nature of Mandamus and be please to pass an order to issue a direction to Charkop Police Station having jurisdiction over this matter to instruct the respective officer to record the Petitioner's statement as per the Section 173 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023. The learned APP submits on instructions that if the Petitioner comes to the Police Station any day, her statement would be recorded. 3.

Without going into the contentious statements made by both the sides, we record consent of the Petitioner that she would approach the Charkop Police Station on 7th August, 2025 at 11.30 a.m. The SHO of the Police Station would ensure that her statement is recorded in a language which she understands, reads and writes, between 11.30 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. 4.

In the event the Petitioner has any additional information that she may gather in future, after her statement is recorded on 7th August 2025, the concerned SHO would receive such information which will be offered by the Petitioner.
