P.C.:- 1) By the impugned Order dated 25th June, 2025, the Application of the Petitioner seeking furlough leave was rejected by the Competent Authority on the ground that, the Petitioner did not complete the minimum prescribed requirement of one year of incarceration after conviction. 2) Petitioner is convicted by the trial Court by its Judgment and Order dated 17th August, 2024. In view thereof, the Competent Authority was right in rejecting the Application for furlough leave made by the Petitioner on the said ground.

ssm 2 60-wp4213.2025.doc 3) As of today, the Petitioner has undergone more than a year of incarceration and is now entitled to file an Application for furlough leave before the Competent Authority.

4) In view of above, learned Advocate for the Petitioner seeks leave to withdraw present Petition with liberty to file a fresh Application for furlough leave before the Competent Authority. 4.1) Leave and liberty granted.
