The learned APP submits on the basis of the letters issued to the person who has signed the complaint lodged with the Police Station, that though the said authorized signatory/Complainant is requested to come to the Police Station for recording his statement and tendering the documents, he is not attending the Police Station.

Per contra, the learned Advocate for the Petitioner submits that whenever the Petitioner/authorized signatory is summoned for recording the statement or submitting the documents, he has been visiting the Police Station. 3.

In view of such disputed statements, we observe that if the Petitioner desires to co-operate with the Police Station in the investigation, let him reach Police Station whenever called upon for making his statement and tendering the documents. The SHO will ensure that the presence of the Petitioner/authorized signatory would be recorded in the station diary. 4.
