By order dated 24th February 2026, a Division Bench of this Court has directed the Deputy Superintendent of Police / respondent No.2 to ensure production of DVR kept with respondent No.3 and CCTV footage and DVR of the relevant date of the Masjid, adjoining to the petitioner's house and the CCTV footage of the concerned police station before this Court.

Pursuant to the said order, DVR and CCTV footage has been given in the custody of the Registrar, Officer on Special Duty. Before proceeding to hear the Petitioner further, it is deemed necessary to afford an opportunity to the learned Advocates to view the DVR and CCTV footage.

Accordingly, the Registrar (Officer on Special Duty) is directed to authorize a senior official from the Registry, in whose presence the said DVR and CCTV footage shall be made available for viewing by all the learned Advocates. The same be done within a period of two weeks from today.
