1.
We have heard the learned Advocate for the Petitioner and the learned APP for the Respondents State. With their assistance, we have gone through the Petition paper book.
2.
Considering the Order that we intend to pass, we are not adverting to the entire submissions of the parties, lest, we may be making certain observations which may impact either the additional investigation or the trial. 3.
Suffice it to say that, a Charge-sheet has been filed and the trial Court has taken cognizance. The Petitioner can avail of the remedies for Anand 1/2
2. WP 4461-2025.odt seeking additional investigation on the ground that the FIR, does not reflect the correct story as is set out in the Original Complaints dated 20th December, 2024 and 21st January, 2025 filed by the mother of the Petitioner on the basis of which the FIR No. 24 of 2025 was registered on 24th January, 2025 with the Dehu Road Police, District Pimpri-Chinchwad.
4.
The learned Advocate for the Petitioner submits that the Petitioner would seek legal aid before the trial Court and move an appropriate Application for seeking additional investigation. 5.
In view of the above, this Petition is disposed off with liberty. In the event such an Application is made, the trial Court would consider the same on its own merits. If it concludes that an additional investigation is necessary, it would direct the Police Commissioner to appoint a senior lady police officer to supervise and monitor the additional investigation along with the SHO of the Dehu Road Police Station.
6.
We make it clear that we have not expressed any view as regards the merits of such an Application. All contentions are kept open. [GAUTAM A. ANKHAD, J.] [RAVINDRA V. GHUGE, J.] Anand 2/2
