1) In view of the observations made by this Court in Order dated 27th February 2026, learned APP tendered across the Bar an Affidavit of Shri Sunil N. Dhumal, Deputy Inspector General of Prison, Western Region, Pune. Para Nos. 2 and 3 of the said Affidavit are as under:- "2.

I say and submit that, in accordance with the order dated 27/02/2026 passed by this Hon'ble Court, the said prisoner is hereby granted an extended parole for a period of two days (48 hours) of the petitioner place from 10/03/2026 to 12/03/2026, in continuation of the previous sanctioned parole. 3.

I respectfully submit that the decision taken by Competent 1/2

1.1) The statements made in para Nos. 2 and 3 of the said Affidavit are accepted.

2) Stand over to 17th March 2026.
