In this Writ Petition, the petitioner seeks to question registration of a crime vide C.R. No.346 of 2024 registered on 11th May 2024 with Borivali Police Station, Mumbai for the offences punishable under sections 386, 394, 504, 506 r/w. section 34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860.

The learned counsel for the petitioner endeavours to demonstrate before this Court that the petitioner has no role to play in the alleged crime but, as we gather from the records, a charge sheet has been laid in the Court of 26th Judicial Magistrate, First Class at Borivali. Evidently, there are statements of witnesses recorded in the course of the investigation by the police. 3.

The learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw this writ petition with liberty to the petitioner to avail of remedy as available to him in law at an appropriate stage. 1/2 9-WP-4658-2025.doc Dixit
