For the reasons recorded separately hereinabove, the following order is passed:

wp-4692-2025 (copy) (i) The arrest of the petitioner and the consequential orders of remand are unsustainable and are liable to be set aside. We accordingly set aside the same. Since the trial is underway, it would be desirable to direct the petitioner to furnish a PR bond and sureties to the satisfaction of the Trial Judge. The direction to furnish bail bonds shall be complied with immediately upon the petitioner being released on bail.

(ii) The Writ Petition stands disposed of with a direction to the concerned authorities to release the petitioner forthwith, if he is not required in any other case.
