Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner. 2.
The challenge in this petition is to a notice under Section 59 of the Maharashtra Police Act, 1951 ("the Act, 1951") calling upon the petitioner to show cause as to why action under Section 56(1)(a)(b) of the Act, 1951 may not be taken against the petitioner.

The learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the notice refers to stale crimes and there have been subsequent developments and the proceedings have been transferred from the Court of JMFC, Pune, to JMFC, Paud.

Since the petition assails the notice under Section 59 of the Act, 1951, only, at this stage, this Court does not find any justifiable ground to entertain the petition. The petitioner shall have the liberty to place all the relevant facts before the Competent Authority including the absence of live link and transfer of the proceedings from the Court of JMFC, Pune to the Court of JMFC, Paud.

Keeping open all the points which the petitioner may lawfully agitate before the Competent Authority, the petition stands dismissed.
