This Petition was mentioned today at 11.00 a.m. on the ground of urgency as mentioned in the praecipe dated 06.03.2026. The said praecipe is taken on record and marked as "X" for identification. In view of the urgency sought to be put forth by Mr. Suraj Dubey, learned Advocate for the Petitioners, circulation was granted post lunch.

This matter was taken up after the "Fresh Admission Board". 3.

Heard Mr. Suraj Dubey, learned Advocate for the Petitioners and Mr. Sukanta Karmakar, learned A.P.P. for the State/Respondent. 4.

By the present Petition, the Petitioners have sought for the following substantive reliefs in terms of prayer clauses 17(a) to

(c) :- "a) that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue writ of Certiorari and/or any other appropriate Writ, order and/or direction in the nature of Certiorari thereby calling for the records and proceedings in respect of FIR bearing C.R. No. 121/2025, registered against the Petitioners with Indiranagar Police Station, Nashik for the offences punishable U/s. 316(2), 318(4), 319, 351(2) and Sec. 3 of MPID Act and after examining the legality, validity and/or propriety thereof, may be further pleased to quash and set aside the same; b) That this Hon'ble Court be pleased to issue a writ of Certiorari and/or any other appropriate Writ, Order or direction to the Respondent No. 1 not to file chargesheet in respect of FIR bearing C.R. No. 121/2025, registered against the Petitioners with Indiranagar Police Station, Nashik for the offences punishable U/s. 316(2), 318(4), 319, 351(2) and Sec. 3 of MPID Act;

c) That this Hon'ble Court be pleased to issue a Writ of Certiorari and/or any other appropriate Writ, Order or direction to the Respondent No. 1 not to take any coercive action against the Petitioners in respect of FIR bearing C.R. No. 121/2025, registered against the Petitioners with Indiranagar Police Station, Nashik for the offences punishable U/s. 316(2), 318(4), 319, 351(2) and Sec. 3 of MPID Act." 5.

Today, Mr. Sukanta Karmakar, learned A.P.P. for the State/Respondent on instructions, states that Respondent No. 1 has filed "C" Summary Report in Crime No. 121 of 2025 registered with Indiranagar Police Station, Nashik.

On the basis of the statement made by Mr. Sukanta Karmakar, learned A.P.P., Mr. Suraj Dubey, learned Advocate for the Petitioners on instructions from the Petitioners craves leave to withdraw the

present Petition.

Request of withdrawal made by Mr. Suraj Dubey, learned Advocate for the Petitioners is not objected by Mr. Sukanta Karmakar, learned A.P.P. for the State/Respondent. 8.

In view of the above, leave granted to the Petitioners to withdraw the present Criminal Writ Petition.

Criminal Writ Petition No. 4742 of 2025 is dismissed as withdrawn.
