Making an allegation that the respondent no.2, namely, Mr. Shankar Shivaji Honmane, who is attached with Khandeshwar Police Station took Rs.50,000/- from the petitioner's son for investigation related expenses and thus committed misconduct, the present writ petition has been filed for a direction for registration of a separate criminal case against the respondent no.2.

Mrs. G. P. Mulekar, the learned APP appearing for the State of Maharashtra shall seek necessary informations from the Senior Police Inspector at Khandeshwar Police Station regarding proposed inquiry against the respondent no.2, if any.

Registry to provide a plain copy of Writ Petition No. 4832 of 2025 to Mrs. G. P. Mulekar, the learned APP.
