Through this writ petition, the petitioner seeks issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus calling for the entire records including but not limited to the case diary with respect to the investigation in First Information Report No. 109 of 2024 registered on 11th September 2024 at Silvassa Police Station. The petitioner seeks a further direction to the respondent to carry out "further investigation" into the matter in accordance with law. 2.

After arguing for some time, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the writ petition. 3.
