Heard the learned Counsel for the parties.

The petitioner is externed under an order dated 17th June, 2025 passed by the Deputy Commissioner of Police, PimpriChinchwad, from the limits of Pimpri-Chinchwad, Pune City Police Commissionerate and Pune District, for the period of 24 months.

Aggrieved, the petitioner preferred an appeal before the Divisional Commissioner, Pune.

The grievance of the petitioner is that though the appeal was preferred on 21st July, 2025, it has yet not been heard. As the statutory appeal is pending before the Appellate Authority, it 1/2 Order corrected as per order dtd.11/11/2025.

903-CRIWP5156-2025-SPM.DOC would be expedient in the interest of justice to direct the Appellate Authority to hear and decide the appeal expeditiously. 5.

The petition, thus, stands disposed with direction to respondent No.2 - Appellate Authority to list the appeal for hearing on 17th November, 2025 and hear and decide the said appeal as expeditiously as possible and, preferably, within a period of six weeks from the date scheduled for hearing of the appeal.
