This is a Petition for Writ of Habeas Corpus. The contention of the Petitioner is that in the morning of 29/09/2025, the Petitioner's son - Nikul Rajesh Jain was dragged out of his medical shop at Mazgaon and he was forcibly taken away in an Innova Car bearing license plate No.TN-08BR-3256. It is the case of the Petitioner that he was taken away affecting his personal life and liberty. There was an attempt to destroy the evidence of CCTV footage. Therefore, the Petitioner approached Byculla Police Station, Mumbai for help.

2) Learned APP submitted a Report dated 09/10/2025 submitted by the SPI - Sachin Chauhan attached to Byculla Police Station. 3) The inquiry conducted by the Officers of Byculla Police Station 1/2

P.H. Jayani 05 WP5189.2025.doc revealed that the Petitioner's son was taken away by the Officers attached to Katpadi Police Station, Tamilnadu in connection with their C.R.No.3969/2025 registered under Sections 111 and 123 of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023. However, the local police station in Mumbai were not informed. The said Report is taken on record. A copy of this Report is given to the learned Counsel for the Petitioner.

4) In view of this Report, learned Counsel for the Petitioner does not press this Petition. She submitted that the Petitioner would take appropriate steps by approaching the appropriate Court in Tamilnadu for the necessary relief.

5) Recording this submission, the Petition is disposed of as not pressed.
