Heard the learned Counsel for the parties.

A limited prayer in this Petition is for expeditious hearing and conclusion of the trial in Criminal Case No.83/PW/2017.

The Petitioner is the original complainant-victim and claims to be a senior citizen. Though, the chargesheet has been lodged in the year 2017, yet, the charge has not been framed. It appears that the matter is now posted for Framing of the Charge.

Having regard to the time lag and the fact that the parties appear to be senior citizens, learned Magistrate is requested to pass appropriate orders on Framing of the Charge on 16 December 2025, the next scheduled date of the listing of 83/PW/2017, and, if the trial is warranted, conclude the trial as expeditiously as possible, and, preferably, within a period of nine months from the date of the framing of the charge.
