1) By the present Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the Petitioner is seeking following relief :- i) Issue a Writ of mandamus or appropriate writ under Article 226 directing the Sessions Court at Thane to decide the pending Bail Application within a time-bound period as may be fixed by this Hon'ble Court."
2) Mr. Salvi, learned Special P.P. tendered across the bar Orders dated 18th July 2025 and 21st November 2025, passed in Special Leave to Appeal (Crl.) No(s). 3477 of 2025 and Miscellaneous Application No. 2194 of 2025 in SLP (Crl) No. 3477 of 2025, respectively. 1/2
dtg 8-Wp-5323-2025.doc 2.1) By its Order dated 21st November 2025, the Hon'ble Supreme Court has directed that, the evidence of the prosecution witnesses be concluded on or before 31st January 2026. The Appellant therein was granted liberty to file Application for bail before the trial Court if the trial is not concluded on or before 31st January 2026. 3) As the Hon'ble Supreme Court has already expedited the trial, we see no reason to pass any other or further directions to the trial Court. 4) Petition is accordingly disposed off.
