The petitioners have filed this writ petition seeking quashing of First Information Report No.1355 of 2024 lodged on 17th December 2024 with Manpada Police Station, Dombivli (East). 2.

Mr. J. P. Yagnik, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent-State states that the cognizance of the offence has been taken on 28th March 2025.

Since cognizance of the offence has been taken by the Court concerned, this writ petition shall not lie in view of the Rule 2 (II) (h) under Chapter-I of the Bombay High Court Appellate Side Rules, 1960.

Therefore, reserving a liberty with the petitioners to challenge the order taking cognizance, Writ Petition No.5897 of 2025 is dismissed as withdrawn.
