The Petition is preferred for a direction for expedite hearing of Special Case No. 341 of 2024.

It appears that, the charge-sheet has been lodged for the offences punishable under Section 376(2) (n) and 506 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 and under Sections 3(1)(w)(ii) of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 ("the Act, 1989"). 4.

In the backdrop of the mandate contained in Section 14(3) of the Act, 1989, the learned Special Judge seized with Special Case No. 341 of 2024 is requested to make an endeavour to pass an order on framing 1/2
