P.C.:- 1) Learned APP on instructions from the Deputy Superintendent of Thane Central Prison, District Thane, submitted that, the Home Department of Government of Maharashtra, has taken a decision on the Application preferred by the Petitioner under Section 432 of the Cr.P.C. and has placed him in category 2(d) of 15th March 2010 Guidelines. The Petitioner therefore will have to undergo 28 years of imprisonment including remissions. 1.1) In view of the above, the prayers in the Petition are worked out. 2) Petition is disposed off in the aforesaid terms. 3) It is made clear that, if the Petitioner is aggrieved by his categorization, as per the Government Order dated 6th February 2026, he is at liberty to challenge the same by adopting appropriate proceedings.
