The challenge in this Petition is to an order dated 1st July 2025 passed by the Deputy Commissioner of Police Zone-10, Mumbai, thereby externing the petitioner from the Mumbai City & Mumbai Suburban Districts for a term of two years under Section 56(1)(a) and (b) of the Maharashtra Police Act, 1951.

The Petitioner has an efficacious statutory remedy of filing an ARUN RAMCHANDRA SANKPAL Date: 2025.11.29 16:24:43 +0530 Appeal before the Divisional Commissioner, under Section 60 of the Maharashtra Police Act.

The Petition thus stands disposed with liberty to the Petitioner to approach the Appellate Authority.
