Heard the learned Counsel for the patties.

By this Petition the Petitioners seeks a limited prayer for a direction of expedite hearing and disposal of C.C. No. 2125/PW/2016, wherein the Petitioners are facing prosecution for an offence punishable ARUN RAMCHANDRA SANKPAL under Section 12A of the Passport Act, 1967.

The learned Counsel for the Petitioners invited attention of the Court to an order dated 14th June 2019, whereby the charge has been framed against the Petitioners under Section 12A of the Passports Act, 1967, only.

The learned Counsel submits that till date, no witness has been examined by the prosecution and the pendency of the criminal complaint causes grave prejudice to the Petitioners. 5.

Having regard to the fact that the charge was framed on 14th June 2019, the prayer for expeditious hearing of the prosecution appears justifiable.

The Petition thus stands disposed with a request to the learned Magistrate seized with C.C. No. 2125/PW/2016, to hear and decide the said case as expeditiously as possible and, preferably, within a period of one year from the date of communication of this order. 7.

Petition disposed.
