We had passed detailed orders on 01/12/2025 and 03/12/2025, finding flaw in the process that is adopted in initiating chapter proceedings against the Petitioner. Today, Mrs.Deshmukh, learned Public Prosecutor, has placed before us an order dated 09/12/2025 passed by the Deputy Commissioner of Police and the Special Executive Magistrate, Zone 4, Pune city, withdrawing Chapter Case No.70 of 2025 registered against the Petitioner and releasing him on the bond submitted. The said communication is taken on record and marked 'X' for identification.

It is also to be noted that the Petitioner, as on date, is already released to give effect to the order dated 19/11/2025 passed by the JMFC and he also stand discharged of the chapter proceedings. However, if he is of the view that his detention was illegal, he is at liberty to take such appropriate steps for seeking compensation for his alleged wrongful detention, by initiating appropriate proceedings. 3.
