P. C. :- 1) In compliance of the earlier direction, Mrs. Shinde the learned APP has produced before us a Report from Deccan Police Station, Pune City, Pune.

The Report comprise of a statement of Respondent No.2- Mr.Dilip Sambhaji Shirole recorded on 22/12/2025 where he informed that his daughter is suffering from schizophrenia and she is presently admitted to Samyak Mental Health Care and Rehabilitation Centre from June, 2025 and he is bearing all necessary expenses of her treatment. He also make a statement that she is under the treatment of Dr.Dnyanraj Choudhary and Dr.Ruchi Wagh and she was earlier admitted in a rehabilitation centre in Pachane, Tal.Mulshi, Dist.Pune from November, 2024 to June, 2025. 1/2

Manoj 4-WP-6394-2025.doc According to Mr. Dilip Shirole, the child aged 9 years is also with him and attending Birla Brainiacs Online School.

2) The said Report is taken on record.

3) It is a specific contention advanced on behalf of the Petitioner that his wife does not suffer from any ailment and that she has been wrongly detained by the Respondent No.2, her own father, and even his son is also detained by him.

In these circumstances we direct an Officer from Deccan Police Station, Pune City to visit Samyak Mental Health Care and Rehabilitation Centre and ascertain whether Pooja Ashwinikumar Patil is admitted there and the officer shall also obtain necessary medical treatment papers from Dr. Dnyanraj Choudhary and Dr. Ruchi Wagh to be produced before us. We direct listing of the Petition tomorrow i.e. 24/12/2025, to have an update on the said information.
