1) In pursuance of Order dated 8th December 2025, Shri Satya Narayan, Joint Commissioner of Police (Law & Order), Mumbai, has filed his detailed Affidavit dated 12th December 2025. It is stated therein that, in view of the observations made by this Court in its Order dated 8th December 2025, necessary remedial measures have been adopted. A Circular dated 11th December 2025 is accordingly issued by the Commissioner of Police, Mumbai, directing all the concerned Officers to mentioned the Preliminary Enquiry Numbers, in its communications from the date of the receipt of the 1/2

2) Learned APP on instructions from Mr. Wagh, ACP, Girgaon Division, Mumbai, submitted that, as far as the grievance of the Petitioner is concerned, crime bearing No. 1770 of 2025, dated 16th December 2025, has been registered with V.P. Road Police Station, Mumbai, under Section 331(4) of the BNS.
2.1) In view of the above, the grievance of the Petitioner does not survive.
