Heard the learned Counsel for the Petitioner. 2.

This Petition is filed seeking a direction for expeditious hearing and conclusion of the trial in Special Case MCOC No.100009 of 2015. A copy of the roznama of the proceedings is annexed to the Petition. ARUN RAMCHANDRA SANKPAL 3.

Since the prosecution was initiated in the year 2015 and, as per his instructions, the learned Counsel for the Petitioner submits that only nine witnesses have been examined and the prosecution proposes to ARS 1/2

13-WP-6473-2025.DOC examine more than 100 witnesses, the prayer for expeditious hearing of the Special Case MCOC No.100009 appears justifiable. 5.

Thus, the Petition stands disposed with a request to the learned Special Judge, MCOC, seized with Special Case MCOC No.100009, to dispose of the Special Case MCOC No.100009, as expeditiously as possible, and, preferably within a period of one year from the date of communication of this order.

The prosecution is directed to make concerted efforts to produce the witnesses before the learned Special Judge. 7.

The Investigating Officer shall remain present before the Special Court (MCOC), on each of the dates of hearing of the said Special Case and ensure that the witnesses remain present before the Court. [N. J. JAMADAR, J.] ARS 2/2
