Since the petitioner is 81 years old and seeks limited relief that the Trial Court expeditiously hear and dispose of the complaint under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881, the same has been allowed. The complaint is pending since 2015, and is at the stage of evidence. The learned 14th Court, Judicial Magistrate First Class, Girgaon, Mumbai to consider the age of the petitioner and is directed to expeditiously dispose of Criminal Complaint No. SS/1402110 of 2015 within the period of one year from today.
