The petitioner seeks impartial and time-bound investigation in C.R.No.683 of 2025 registered at MHB Colony, Police Station. 2.

Mr. Manish Shukla, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the Investigating Officer has filed a charge-sheet in the matter and, therefore, he is required to amend this petition. 3.

Ms. Mahalaxmi Ganapathy, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent-State informs the Court that the Court concerned has taken cognizance of the offence. 4.

Be that as it may, merely because the accused person was denied anticipatory bail by the Sessions Court, the allegation made by the petitioner that the Investigating Officer colluded with the accused inasmuch as the accused was not arrested by him cannot be accepted. The learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the Investigating Officer did not arrest the accused even after the interim protection granted to him lapsed after a certain period. bgp Page | 1

906.6591.25-wp.docx Even at the time when a charge-sheet was filed, the petitioner had an opportunity in law to file her protest-cum-complaint petition. Whether she availed of those opportunities or not is not known to the learned counsel for the petitioner. The cognizance of the offence has been taken by the Court concerned and, therefore, there cannot be any interference in the matter insofar as the investigation is concerned.
