The petitioner aggrieved by the order of detention dated 20th March 2025 approached this Court by filing this Criminal Writ Petition.

However, as the proceedings in this matter would indicate that the matter was listed on Board for the first time on 15th December 2025 when the following order was passed by this Court: "
The Registry to verify and place the matter before the appropriate Court."

Thereafter, the petitioner did not prosecute this writ petition and it came to be listed on 17th February 2026. It seems on that day an adjournment was sought and this writ petition was directed to be listed on 4th March 2026.

Ms. Vedika Bhoir, the learned counsel for the petitioner states that the period of detention is now over and this writ petition has been rendered infructuous.
