Mr. Pranav Badehka, the learned senior counsel for the petitioner in Writ Petition No.6773 of 2025 on instructions from Mr. Bhomesh Bellam, the learned advocate on record states that this writ petition shall remain confined to the prayer clauses (a) & (c) as regards quashing of C.R. No.596 of 2025 re-numbered as C.R. No.92 of 2025 registered under sections 308(4), 61(2) and 3(5) of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita 2023 and under section 3(1)(ii), 3(2), 3(4) of the the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act, 1999 ("MCOC Act") at Chembur Police Station.

Mr. Sudeep Pasbola, the learned senior counsel appearing for the petitioner in Writ Petition No.6778 of 2025 on instructions from Mr. Atharva Utekar, the learned assisting counsel states that this writ petition shall remain confined to the invocation of provisions under the MCOC Act as on 13th November 2025.

We find that there is no statement made by the petitioner in both these writ petitions as to their antecedents, if any. 4.

On instructions, Mr. Badehka orally submits that two criminal cases were registered against the petitioner. Mr. Pasbola states on oral instructions that the petitioner has no criminal antecedents. 5.

The petitioners shall file their respective affidavits as regards their criminal antecedents. The Public Prosecutor in-charge shall also file the affidavit on this aspect.

Post the matters on 12th January 2026.
