The applicant has remedy by way of appeal under Section 14A of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989.

Hence, the criminal revision application is permitted to be withdrawn with liberty to the applicant to file appeal under Section 14A. However, time spent in prosecuting the criminal revision application shall be excluded while computing limitation. 3.

It is clarified that this Court has not considered merits of the matter.
