1. The Applicant has placed on record an affidavit dated 12.04.2025 wherein she claims that she has applied for a fresh passport through an application dated 23.03.2025 which is presently in custody of the Superintendent, Central Jail, Colvale; the Applicant claims that her application for issuance of a fresh passport is required to be forwarded to the Ghanian High Commission at New Delhi.

2. Learned PP states that the communication, received through the Ministry of External Affairs, from the Ghanian High Commission/Consulate at New Delhi, informs the Ministry that the 15th April, 2025

CRMAB 7 of 2025 passport and visa claimed by the Applicant to be hers, at the time of her arrest which is in the custody of the Calangute Police, was a fake one.

3. Learned PP to place on record the aforementioned communication along with a copy of the application of the Petitioner seeking issuance of a fresh passport, which is in possession of the Superintendent, Central Jail, Colvale.

4. Stand over to 28.04.2025.
