Mr. Venegavkar, learned Chief Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submits that the Principal Secretary, Law and Judiciary, has personally communicated with him informing that under her instructions the Desk Officer of Mantralaya had communicated to the concerned A.P.P about the steps to be taken in respect of compliance of the order of this Court.

As a matter of fact, this exercise ought to have been done by taking precaution that further complications would not arise. Be that as it may.

It is made clear that this Court has not passed any adverse remarks against the Principal Secretary, Law and Judiciary in the order dated 17th February, 2025, save and except, to ascertain whether the Principal Secretary had, in fact, directed the Desk Officer of Mantralaya to do the needful.
