The appellant is apprehending his arrest in Crime No. 375 of 2025 registered at Yavat Police Station, Pune (Rural) for the offences punishable under SectionS 3(1)(p), 3(1)(q), 3(1)(2) of the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989.

The learned counsel for the appellant submits that in Criminal Appeal (ST) No. 16589 of 2025 arising out of the same crime, this Court has protected the appellant therein from arrest. It is submitted that similar allegations are there against the present appellant.
