Heard the learned counsel for the Appellant and the learned APP for the Respondent-State.

The allegations against the Appellant that on 7th March, 2025 the Appellant abused the first informant on caste. There is delay around 7 months in lodging the FIR. No explanation is given about the delay for lodging FIR.

The learned APP seeks time to take instructions. 4.

Issue notice to Respondent No. 2 returnable on 12th December, 2025.

Till the next date, in the event of arrest of Appellant Mr. Ankush Anandrao Keripale in connection with investigation of crim no.551 of 2025 registered with Sangli City Police Station, Dist- Sangli for the offences punishable under Sections 352 and 351(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and under Sections 3(1)(r), 3(1)(s) and 3(2) (va) of the Scheduled Castes And The Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989, shall be released on interim bail on furnishing P. R. Bond in the sum of Rs. 20,000/- with one or two solvent sureties in the like amount.
